I have been working with children, youth, parents, and whanau in both the Health and Education sector since 1991. Originally trained in Primary Teaching, I began my training in Child Mental Health and Psychotherapy in 1999, gaining my Masters in Child Psychotherapy in 2008 following starting my own family.

Personally, I am Maori (Ngati Mutunga) and Pakeha/European heritage though have worked with individuals and families from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. I have experience working with children, adolescents and their parents who have experienced issues with attachment; behaviour; mental health – depression, anxiety; child sexual and physical abuse trauma; and grief and loss. I also provide professional clinical supervision.
