I  currently work in the field of Special Education as an Advisor and as a Counsellor and Professional Supervisor in the Harakeke Centre. My current clients are specialist educational staff and teachers, RTLB’s, social workers, youth workers, mental health workers, staff working in the field of the elderly and confused as well as those supporting people affected by grief, loss and change. I also offer academic supervision to students studying for their Diploma in Counselling.

I have extensive training and work experience as a teacher, counsellor, behaviour management specialist, careers consultant, motivational interviewer, teenage parent educator and family support worker.

I offer my counselling  and supervision clients a person-centred, solutions-focused approach: – being attentive, showing kindness, encouraging hope and celebrating the moments of joy these are my gifts to my clients.
